My name is

Ossian Lindholm

. I am a nature photographer, documentary filmmaker and photography workshop instructor from Northwest Argentina, a very special and photogenic corner of the Andes that is rich in culture and incredible landscape diversity. I have been a passionate photographer my whole life. I am the author and photographer of six books about the nature and culture of Argentina. In 2010 I began my career as a documentary filmmaker with the creation of a weekly TV series: Travesias Fotograficas.

In my life as a scholar, agricultural engineer, entrepreneur, photographer, tour guide, teacher and filmmaker, my mission has been to communicate a message about conservation and sustainability.

Over the years I have crystalized my mission in one sentence: Para Conservar, primero hay que conocer “To conserve, first you must know”. This mission, to teach the world that nature is sacred and our relationship to earth is a precious one, is a maxim that threads throughout all of my work.
